Quick Fix: Apple Music Greyed Out

Not sure why some songs are perfectly playable and some songs are not, and greyed out?

It’s possible that you’re on Cellular Data instead of Wi-Fi. Apple Music defaults to streaming songs only on Wi-Fi so you have to enable it from Settings.

Here’s how to fix it:

  1. Open up the Settings App
  2. Scroll down and hit the iTunes & App Store menu
  3. Switch on Use Cellular Data!
  4. Voila! Enjoy Apple Music on-the-go!

Cellular Data iPhone

Want to reduce the amount of data you use on your iPhone every month? There is a myriad of things you can do to reduce data usage. For example, you can download Apple Music on your computer. Then use Apple Music Converter to convert the DRM protected Apple Music to MP3. By doing so, there is no Apple Music greyed out or iTunes music greyed out issue. Also, you can own the Apple Music songs even after you cancel the Apple Music subscription. Why not download it and have a try?

I'm a music lover and my friends know that. I'm not a great musician or a singer but I look for all ways to enjoy music. Apple Music and Spotify are my favorite.
